Our palisades are of a unique standard. They are round-planed along the annual growth rings. The sapwood is shaved without cutting into the fibre of the wood as intact fibres increase longevity. The natural cross section is retained and only bends and elbows are straightened slightly. The largest advantage compared with circular milled palisades is the unlikelihood of mounting them the wrong way round. Just like in the natural world, our palisades are set up with the thick end at the bottom. Water can run away quickly, which has a positive effect on a palisade’s longevity.

Palisades can be supplied with diameters of 10 cm - 40 cm and on request in a parallel (cylindrical) format.
